Rise like a Phoenix

Aquesta cançó és la que Àustria presenta pel concurs d'Eurovision d'enguany. Crec que té un significat molt profund. La canta Conchita Wurst.

Conchita Wurst és en veritat un home, que actua vestit de dona per reivindicar els drets de les minories. És un clar símbol de tolerància, i es presenta al festival amb l'objectiu de canviar algunes ments. Personalment, a mi em va semblar molt estrany i antiestètic en un primer moment, però en quant vaig llegir la lletra de la cançó, el que significava i em vaig informar una mica sobre la seva vida, tot em va semblar tenir un gran significat i una gran importància.

M'agrada molt la lletra i el significat de la cançó, on la cantant diu que ressorgirà com un au fènix de les seves cendres, buscant quelcom millor que la venjança, i que un cop s'hagi transformat i hagi renascut, s'elevarà fins al cel, i mentres la gent que la va empènyer a caure segueix allà, ella començarà a volar. D'alguna manera, parla de que l'han ferit, és la flama que ha fet que ella es converteixi en cendres, però ens diu que hem de ser forts, perquè la flama que ens ha cremat i convertit en cendres fa que més tard ressorgim i comencem a volar, deixant tots aquells qui ens varen fer mal a terra. Tot aquest tema queda 

embolicat entre harmonies pròpies de James Bond i la veu espectacular d'aquest home.
